Becky DeHaas operates her own business DeHaas Equestrian out of beautiful Deer Lake Farm located in the surrounding area of Collingwood, Ontario. Becky has been an EC certified competition coach since 2000, and has developed students from the beginner level to advanced riders. She has had many years of coaching experience at National EC gold rated “A” shows as well as the Provincial Trillium level.
Becky’s students have been very successful over the years, winning many ribbons and high point awards. Her coaching style is patient and observant, but always results driven with the goal of making the horse/rider team a success. Becky has competed in both hunters and jumpers , and has been privileged to train with some of the best Grand Prix and Olympic riders Canada has to offer. She continues to compete and uses this valuable information to compliment her riding and training of young horses, as well as to better her own students.
Becky believes the management of the horses’ care, and a consistent lesson/show program is paramount to success in the ring. DeHaas Equestrian focuses on the whole picture.
